Weston is located in the western part of Broward County just east of the Everglades. The City encompasses 25.84 square miles that includes 1,877 acres of lakes and canals and 2,200 acres of wetland preserves.

In 2006, CNN Money Magazine ranked Weston 20th in America in the "Biggest Earners" category, which ranks the 25 cities in America with the highest incomes. It was also ranked as the city with largest job growth in Florida and 18th largest in the nation.
Parks & Recreation 
There are 46 miles of bike paths and trails for residents to enjoy along with the local Community Center and 13 municipal parks. Golf lovers will fall in love with the Weston Hills Country Club or the Bonaventure Country Club. Tennis players will enjoy the Weston Tennis Center, a spacious 16 courts and professional facility that includes 15 hydro clay courts and one championship hard court.
Education
Weston offers excellent educational opportunities, both public and private. Public schools are provided and managed by The Broward County School District. There are also a variety of colleges and universities located within a twenty mile radius from Weston.
